IRS rejected return twice because of AGI. I believe that number i gave was correct both times. It is line 37 of last years return. Is there another way?

why would i need 2016 this is for 2018 return?

You need to make sure you are providing the 2017 AGI. If you did not file this return in 2018, you will report $0.

I was late, filed in Jan this year  I'm trying to get back on the straight and narrow.  So i should try 0 for answer?
