I am receiving "Employer ID is invalid for electronic filing" but the number I have is correct. Its been the same for several years past that I Efiled. Why not working?

I am trying to efile and keep getting this error "Employer ID is invalid for electronic filing" but the number I inputted is correct. Is there a way to get this to go thru with this number on it?

I was having the same problem and what I did was erase the number that I had input, then add the numbers and dash using the top row of number keys. Before I had used the numeric keypad. After that change Turbotax had no problem e-filing my return.
