I was charged over $800 for federal filing and over $700 for state filing? Why???

I appreciate it but I dont want to PAY to speak to a live agent to see why I was charged. I feel like customer service should be free

Did you pay for TurboTax upfront or did you elect to have the TurboTax fee taken out of your refund? 

If you paid upfront, was that the amount that was shown on the screen before you filed or was a different amount taken from your account after you paid?

If you elected to have the TurboTax fee taken from your refund, have you checked the IRS and state websites to confirm that they didn't reduce your refund?
