I’ve finished the unemployment section and it still says “not started”. I’ve logged out and retried and it doesn’t help.

Try this and then go back to the unemployment section -

If a Form 1099-G was transferred from the 2020 tax return -

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

Delete Form 1099-G

Thanks! Unfortunately that didn’t work. I did have UI benefits in 2020, but when I went in to delete a form there wasn’t a 1099-G form to delete. 🤔 weird

Well, you can try clearing your tax return and starting over and then see if the problem reoccurs

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2020 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
