Yes, but depending on the type of 1099 you may not qualify for the free edition.
Both the 1095-B and 1095-C do not have to be included. However, you should keep them with your tax documents for future confirmation.
There are multiple 1099 forms. They are all under:
- Federal
- Wages and income
- You can select the type of form in this section.
If you've used TurboTax, you may know how to post a W-2, but here's a refresher.
To import your W-2 you will have to have some confirming information.
TurboTax Online
- Open or continue your return.
- Go to W-2.
- Select Work on my W-2 and Continue.
- If you've already entered a W-2 or need to add another one, select Add a W-2.
- Enter your Employer Identification Number (EIN) from Box b on your W-2.
- If your W-2 can be imported, you'll come to the Great news! We can automatically import your W-2 info screen. Answer the questions to complete your import.
- If TurboTax doesn't recognize your EIN you can use the TurboTax mobile app to snap a photo of your W-2, upload it from your computer, or fill it in yourself.
