I started a career in travel nursing in June 2017. My tax home is OH, I worked in NV for 5 months. My employer took out OH tax. Will turbo tax understand this?

Yes, and it is great as NV has no income tax and your resident state will tax you on all your income regardless of where earned, so nice that they took out Ohio taxes.
