I received an additional payment in 2017 from a job I left in 2014. How do I account for it in my taxes? No W2, just a pay stub.

You can enter the amount as other taxable income.

  • Go to WAGES & INCOME
  • Scroll down to LESS COMMON INCOME
  • In the topic list, scroll down to 'Miscellaneous Income', choose Revisit/Start
  • Choose 'Other income not already reported on a Form W-2 or Form 1099'
