I received a 1099misc form from insurance company for income that was earned by my agent, do i need to send a 1099misc to him to document his income to the irs?

Yes. Since the 1099-MISC income was not earned by you, but your agent, you would need to send them a 1099-MISC for that amount so you can offset the income that was reported to you on the 1099-MISC.

Yes. Since the 1099-MISC income was not earned by you, but your agent, you would need to send them a 1099-MISC for that amount so you can offset the income that was reported to you on the 1099-MISC.
