I really need to file my taxes but I’m missing 1 w2. How can I get it? I have the ein# but I don’t have what’s in box 1

I need to recover my w2 from pecan discount drug in 2023. I never received it but I got my w2s from my other jobs

Only the employer can provide the 2023 W-2.  You need to contact the employer for the W-2 and make sure that they have your current mailing address.

If after contacting you employer you still can't get a copy of your W-2:

1. Get your last 2023 pay stub and call the IRS at 800-829-1040.
2. The IRS will ask you for some info before following up with your employer.
3. After notifying the IRS, you can either continue waiting for your W-2 or paper-file your return using Form 4852 and your last pay stub.
