I realized that I have two TT accounts - one for prior to 2022, and a new one for 2022 and beyond. Can I merge them?

No ... you can just let the older account go dormant and use the newer account only.

BUT...make sure you download a PDF file of each year's tax return NOW...before you forget what the login was for that older account....

Tax files in the old account from before ~2017 have already been eliminated.

And back-up those PDF file off your computer too.
