I read on Facebook about an online version of Turbotax that costs a lot less than downloads; I use the Premier edition. How does that work?

I don't see any references to this in my Intuit/Turbotax account. Will I still be able to keep a copy on my PC?

Not sure what you read on Facebook.  Premier is a version of desktop download; do not confuse it with the online version with a similar name--Premium.

 If you purchase Premier, it is a download that goes on the hard drive of your own computer.

You can also purchase the desktop download from various retailers such as Costco, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, Sam’s Club, etc. etc. etc.

When you use desktop software, there is an additional fee to e-file a state return.  You can avoid that fee if you print, sign and mail the state return.
