I only had Marketplace insurance for 3 months, before switching to a job with health coverage, which also changed my discount qualifications. Do I report as usual?

If you had marketplace insurance for any part of 2023 you must enter your 1095A.   If you discontinued the plan---which apparently you did----then wherever the 1095A has a "zero" leave the field in the software blank.  The software does not like "zero."

You need to enter the Form 1095-A you received for the Marketplace insurance.

To enter your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button
