Email is not one of the ways to contact TurboTax. And there is no need for you to inform TT that you are using another account. Just use whatever account you are using. What makes you think you need to tell TT you are using a different account?
Oh, thank you. I just got an email from Intuit, thats why. And I don’t know what to do.
They sent me this. Can you help please?
Did you pay attention to the part that says "...if you're not using a different TurboTax account......" etc etc? And---there is no reason to rush to e-file. The IRS is not accepting e-files until January 29. You can easily wait for the 48 hours and file later. It would be even better to wait until February or even March to file.
I already filed 2024 tax with the new account, so I just needed to know if I have to do something or not about this. Sorry if I’m being a burden, but I hot worried. @xmasbaby0
No----you do not have to do anything. The message tells you they will "hold" the e-file for 48 hours and if they do not hear from you they will just e-file it anyway. And...again....it makes no difference since e-filing today will not get you a quicker refund. The IRS is not accepting e-files until January 29. So any return e-filed now just sits on a server for a couple of weeks anyway.
Watch your emails for the one that tells you if the e-file was accepted or rejected---sometime in very late January.
Thank you @xmasbaby0 🙏🏼 I appreciate it.
