I need to enter form 8911 information for an ev charging station. There is no place to enter under deductions and credits.

To enter an EV Vehicle Tax Credit -

Click on Federal Taxes
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Under Cars and Other Things You Own
On Energy-Efficient Vehicle Charging Station, click the start or update button

Or enter electric vehicle charging station in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to electric vehicle charging station

Tried that but it just takes you back to Deductions and Credits.  From there there is no option under Home Energy Credits or Energy Efficient Energy credits for an ev charging station.  I know I qualify for a 30% credit from IRS  but no place to enter, at least on my on-line Turbo Tax deluxe...

Are you using the TurboTax desktop editions installed on your personal computer?  If so -

Make sure that you have the latest release of the software installed.

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen

Click on Check for Updates

So it is not possible to get the ev charging station credit with turbotax online.  So I am purchasing the turbotax desktop and starting all over!    PITA!

I have a test Deluxe online account and when I access the section for entering a charging station, the program asks for the charging station information.  See screenshot -

This is not part of my tt deluxe online.   Apparently there are different  versions.

There are not different versions of the Deluxe online edition.

For your online edition - Clear your cache and cookies on your web browser.

If that does not fix the problem then try changing your web browser to one of these you are not currently using - Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge
