I need to do form 8839, but Turbo Tax didn't put that form in the return. Would like to finish that before it gets sent to the IRS.

IRS Form 8839 (Qualified Adoption Expenses) is Available in TurboTax Online and Desktop.

To go to Form 8839 Online:

1. Sign In to TurboTax

2. Click on "Take me to my return" (Online)

3. Select the "Federal Taxes" tab

4. Select "Deductions and Credits"

5. Select "I'll chose what I work on"

6. Select "Adoption Credit" click "start or edit"

To go to Form 8839 on TurboTax Desktop:

1. Open TurboTax Desktop

2. Go to "Search Topics" (on top middle of screen)

3. Type "Form 8839" and press "enter"

4. Select "Form 8839" and press "ok"
