I need to apply for ITIN for my husband from India as i want to file my tax as 'married filing jointly'
Please let me know your fee applicable if i want to file ITIN and i think i can send the w7 form with my manual return form to IRS as well. please suggest the appropriate way

There is no additional fee. The basic instructions for obtaining an ITIN are set out below. Your husband has the option of taking his proof of identity to the US Embassy in India or an acceptance agent there to speed up the process. Once you have his ITIN form, mail that along with the tax return to the IRS at the special address in Austin.
