If you have an IRS IP PIN, this is how you enter it on your tax return:
Are you referring to the Identity Protection PIN which is 6 digits? If so, you would have received that PIN from the IRS before the beginning of the year.
Go to this IRS website to retrieve the IP PIN - https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/retrieve-your-ip-pin
To enter, edit or delete a 6 digit IP PIN
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Other Tax Situations
Scroll down to Other Return Info
On Identity Protection PIN, click the start button
