You cannot use TurboTax Online to file for past years. You have to use the CD/Download TurboTax software that you install on a Windows or Mac computer. There is no free filing for past years.
TurboTax for 2017 and 2018 is no longer available.
You can purchase TurboTax for 2019, 2020, and 2021 at the following link. TurboTax for 2019 will only be available for another few weeks, so buy it and install it now, including any states that you need.
Tax returns for past years cannot be e-filed. You will have to print the tax returns, sign them, and file by mail. Mail each year in a separate envelope.
Using TurboTax there is no way to file for free for a tax return other then the current 2022 return.
TurboTax only supports prior tax years 2021 thru 2019. For other tax years you would need to use a local tax professional or go to the IRS website for prior year forms and schedules - https://www.irs.gov/prior-year-forms-and-instructions
To complete and file a prior year tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the desktop editions for each tax year required from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
A prior year tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed using TurboTax. When mailing multiple tax years use a seperate envelope for each year.
NOTE - For tax years prior to 2020 any tax return filed with a tax refund, the refund will not be paid since it is beyond the 3 year limitation from the due date of the original tax return.

@cdenise1959 - just so you don't miss it in all the information provided by others:
if you owe for any of these years, you owe it. there is no 'statute of limitations' that absolved you of it.
if you are due a refund, the deadline to request that refund is 3 years from the original or extended filing deadline . That means for tax year prior to the 2020 tax year, that deadline has effectively passed.
The deadline to request a refund for 2019 was July 17, 2023 (unless you originally requested an extension in which case it is October 15, 2023).
@NCperson 2020 was due in 2021 so 3 years would be 2024 or am i missing something
@Mike9241 thank you for that catch ; I guess I can't add 0+3 anymore....
