I need extentions for federal and state. I have prepped my federal for mail but I can not do the same for state?

IRS extensions for tax year 2018 must be filed on or before these deadlines:

April 15, 2019 for domestic taxpayers (April 17, 2019 for Maine and Massachusetts residents)
June 17, 2019 for taxpayers outside the country
