The trick is to find out how/where you entered it.
Did you enter it as if it was a 1099-MISC? You could find it in your return and delete it like this:
If you entered it under the Personal Tab, as Less Common Income, then chose Miscellaneous Income, Go back to that section and look for the button with a number to the left of it. See the screenshot below. Choose Update for the section with the income. You may see the 1099-R shown in the Other Miscellaneous Income Summary, and you can delete it there.
You may have to look further to see where you entered it. In some cases, if you are asked: Did you have any of this type of income? you have to say yes, to get to the screen where you entered the numbers and remove them.
