I made less than 2,000 dollars this year with 4 dependent a myself included. Do I need to file these taxes?

If the income was from wages then no, you don't need to file.  You may want to file if you qualify for some tax credits. Is there another adult in the household with income who may also claim the children?  You really should review your entire situation and consider all your options.

You should because you can still qualify for earned income credit and child tax credit.
