I'm switching to a new laptop, how do I transfer the software I already purchase and installed on the old computer to the new computer?

When I download the software to the new laptop, it is saying my license code has already been used.

You cannot "transfer" programming ... program need to be installed.  Only the tax files get transferred ... save the entire tax file to move them. 

 

Now how did you install the program originally ?  CD  or   download? 

 

If you first installed the CD it doesn't give you access to the download.   You have to call in.

 

If you installed from the CD it seems you can not download it from online now.  You can't do both CD and download.   See the new info on this FAQ
