I'm helping my son finish his super easy taxes. His Kansas return keeps coming back as rejected because of form KS 40SVR which doesn't apply to him at all he's 20.

I've tried refiling 3 times. I've done exactly what they told me to do and it still is not working. I deleted the form, I put a zero in the box....the form just comes back.  I'm beyond frustrated right now.   I don't know what to do.

I have had my Kansas rejected multiple times. All resulting to k_40SVR when prompted to edit it asks the following question.

Let us know if you owned a home in 2022. Special rules apply if you are a mobile home owner or a farmer.

 A simple yes or no. I clicked no because I am either one and clicked continue.

Then I proceeded to do a state review and it says one item found to fix so I click it and it is part of the k_40SVR and asks for appraised property value. I have put zero in multiple times. I'm wondering if this isn't a problem on turbo tax end. I have legit filed through them for five years now and have never had this problem up until this year..

Mine is doing this too? Do I need to REFILE or just leave it? I put 0 in for it but it still got denied

I'm unsure at this point this makes fourth time of trying to submit my taxes. There was a thing I reas said something about going to the left collom where there is tax tools and click it and there is a delete form and you can try and delete the form but it also states while doing that it is not a good idea but you can try to delete the k_40SVR but mine kept coming back. I don't understand why this issue keeps popping back up.

Kansas return rejected - KS_40SVR error!

The link in the chat regarding this error that points to the status update page is broken.

You may have clicked on an article that has been deleted or outdated.

Is there an ETA for resolution on this known issue?

Same problem.  I emailed both Fed and KS yesterday (8th).  Fed was immediately accepted, KS was not.  Said KS_40SVR WILL UPDATE on 9th, then resubmit.  Well today is the 9th.  I got no update.  What's going on?

Today is not over yet ... most updates happen later in the day.  And dates are only estimates and are subject to change ... return later tonight or try again tomorrow.

I refiled on 2/9 like they said to do and it still rejected it.

Well, it's February 9th! TurboTax advised that the issue would be taking care of reference KS_40svr. I just filed my state taxes again and of course it did not go through. Obviously TurboTax hasn't fixed this problem!

I deleted form k40svr and taxes still got rejected. I just deleted k210 which also applies to property tax relief and refined. Let's see what happens with that.

I e-filed and got that KS-40SVR update error message.  TurboTax is telling me the update will be available 2/10/2023.  Wait for the software to do an update, then do the finalize and review section again, than submit.

Someone on here said 2/10 for the update because mine was rejected again. Hopefully they will update it soon.
