I’m going to basic training tomorrow and my w2s still haven’t came in. What do I do?

Basic training is ten weeks so by the time I’m out and can have my phone it’ll be past the deadline

You can print and mail Form 4868 to the IRS to file for an extension which will give you until October to file your return.  The extension is not available on TurboTax to electronically file until mid march so you will need to print and mail the form.

Tax Day is April 18th. If you will owe, you need to pay by that date.

Otherwise, no penalty for filing late.
