NO...DO NOT use the Online software for any year except 2023.

 

For 2021, you'd have to buy download and install the "DESKTOP" software for 2021, and only on a fill MAC or Windows computer.

Then it can be prepared there.....but has to be printed and mailed in by yourself.

AND, there is no longer anything called a 1040EZ anymore...that was eliminated a long time ago.

You cannot get a stimulus payment using the 2023 tax return. 

 

You will have to amend the 2021 tax return that you filed and complete the Recovery Rebate Credit section.

No, you can not use 2023 TurboTax software to file your W2 from 2021.

 

If you still need to file your 2020, 2021, or 2022 tax return, see these instructions for paper-filing your return.

 

And Yes, you can still claim your 2021 stimulus check for $1,400 on your 2021 tax return.
