I keep getting a rejection code that says the EIN is not correct but I've triple checked and everything is right. What do I do now?

Error code FW2-502 is the EIN of one of your employer's W-2.

• It is in the top right corner of the W-2 in Box (b).
• It is a 9-digit number.
• Confirm that the name and EIN have been posted correctly from the W-2 to the tax return.
• If it is correct, you may want to contact your employer.
• If all else fails, You will have to mail the tax return.
• In the filling process, Continue to refile and when you get to the Here are your filing options screen, select Change to print and mail in your return.
