I have TurboTax Premier, loaded to the hard drive of my PC via the CD/DVD reader. Can I work "offline" or do I still need to be connected to the internet?

Using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions, the only time that you need to be connected to the internet is to receive program updates or to e-file your tax returns.  Otherwise you can just work on your tax returns off-line.

Note - Do not e-file your tax returns until you have received the latest updates to the program.  Click on Online at the top of the program screen.  Click on Check for Updates.
