What is a 8960 hold reject code

my return was rejected with a 8960 hold reject code.  When I follow the link to fix my return it takes me straight to e-filing again.  What is the code and how can I fix the return

I have the exact same problem - no explanation, only this message in TurboTax email: "This return could not be processed for e-filing due to incorrect or missing information."

I have this same error, what are we supposed to do? Form 8960 looks correct on my end.

Happened to me too.  Form 8960 looks okay.

this is terrible service and gives me zero confidence in turbotax. it says it will walk me through how to fix the problem and then goes straight back to efile. 8960 is related to investment income, turbotax took info directly from merill lynch. is there any additional help?
