I have the license code from purchasing at the store, I do not see where the activation screen is after I have signed into my account. Where do I go?

When I sign into my Turbo Tax account it just asks me a bunch of questions to purchase it. But I already bought it from the store. I have used Turbo Tax for years, never have had a problem before.

You do Not sign onto your TurboTax account to enter a license code or start a tax return using the TurboTax online editions to enter a license code.  The TurboTax online editions are totally separate from the desktop editions and are priced differently, nor do the online editions use a license code.

 

You install the software you purchased on your computer.  During the installation process you will be asked for your license code.

I’m just following the instructions on the box. It says I can either enter the code by signing in on the website or insert the CD. My computer does not have a way to install a CD. I used a code last year no problem.

Did you sign onto the installTurboTax.com website to download the 2022 installation file?  Have started to install the software from the installation file?

The license code you use is on the CD box insert, envelope, or packing slip.
