If you are insured on his policy or you are named on any marketplace insurance policy, you must enter the 1095-A on your return unless someone claims you as a dependent on their return.
You will need to reach out to Healthcare.gov to get the information you need if you cannot get it from him. If you were not covered, you will need them to update the system.
you also have to find out from him if he did a policy allocation. allocating part of the cost to you. you can only get this info from him. the 1095-A that you get will not show policy allocation if any.
i called and since my daughter is 18, they got her permission to give me access to the form. but why would i need it? they are my dependents and he has never ever claimed them......
on my children are on this, not me. he is ordered to have medical insurance on them. so do i need to include it, when i get home im going to access the form .
Yes, if your kids are included on your return and they are covered through the marketplace, you must include the 1095-A on your return even if it comes in his name.
