It means that the IRS is going through your tax return to make sure that everything is correct.

You are notified when an account is logged into or when a return is opened.

This is a safety measure to let warn you if others have looked into your personal data.

Does it mean that you won't get your refund in 21 days even if you E filed

@Beanie58

This is a safely measure to let you know you or someone has logged into your account and accessed your return.  This does not affect the refund process.  To track your return, please see our tracking guide here.

In this context, "accessed" means that your account has been logged into, or a return has been opened.

If you logged into your TurboTax account and opened your return, then you accessed the information and therefore that is the reason for the email you received.

The TurboTax system automatically sends you an email whenever your account has been logged into, or when a return is opened.

This doesn’t affect the processing of your return.

If you want to see your account activity, please see the TurboTax Help article How can I check the activity in my TurboTax account? for guidance.

Nobody at TurboTax or in this public forum can answer that question with any definity. Once the IRS (and the state if applicable) have accepted your e-filed tax return, TurboTax as fullfilled their obligation you paid them for. Any further communication concerning the status of your e-filed and accepted return can only be between the tax filer and the taxing authority directly.
For your federal tax return, you can see the status online at https://www.irs.gov/refunds

For state tax refunds, see How do I track my state refund? (intuit.com) and follow the link and guidance for your specific state.

Security is very important. Please clarify if the email used the word accessed or assessed.  If it is actually accessed, this is a warning to let you know someone signed into your account. To protect you and your data you receive an email to alert you.  If  you are the one who signed into and used your account there is no need for concern. If you did not sign into your account you should use the Contact Us page.
