I filed with my credit card, but my payment has not been posted to the credit card yet. How do I fix that?

The only way to see if your payment went through is to check your credit card activity . If your return has been accepted then your payment information was sent.  It may take longer for the IRS (& State), to process payments this time of year.

 

From the IRS:  If it's been at least two weeks since you sent the payment to the IRS and your financial institution verifies that the check hasn't cleared your account, call the IRS at 800-829-1040 to ask if the payment has been credited to your tax account.
