I filed married joint with children. No issues getting any of the prev stimulus payments via direct deposit. This last one, I only received half and no orders of garnish

My filing status has been the same for years and same with number of dependents. There are no child support orders or orders of garnishment against me or wife, though wife owes back taxes. All the previous stimulus payments came in as expected, but we only received half of this one.  Seems we aren't the only ones either, but I can't seem to find who to contact to straighten it out.

1. It depends. The amount of your third stimulus will be based on either your 2019 or your 2020 income tax returns.  We don't have the numbers from your tax returns to do this calculation.
2. You stimulis will not be offset by stimulus.
3. Your stimulus could be garnished for umpaid privated debts, but that wouldn't affect the amount that directly deposited.
