pretend you did file through turbotax by entering the info from the actual 4868 you filed. this is under other tax situations
Actually its an automatic extension, the form is for your records, keep your form for your records it is not required to attach to your return and just file your return.
From the Oklahoma Tax Commission website, "You don’t need to file a state income tax extension. Oklahoma will honor any federal extensions. Please enclose a copy of the federal extension with your filed Oklahoma return," so your answer doesn't work for me.
This option is no longer available in Turbotax under "other Tax situations" because the deadline for filing the extension has already passed.
It appears the only option is to file a paper return with the state and enclose a printed copy of my federal extension. Note to self: Use Turbotax for the extension, if necessary, in the future.
FYI ... if you are getting a refund the extension is immaterial for the fed or state so it is not necessary ... go ahead and efile without it.
