I e-filed my 2020 (e-filed 05/17/2021) and 2021 (e-filed 04/19/2022) taxes with Turbo Tax and both years were Rejected. How do I get the returns Accepted?

You will have to print and mail them at this point.

Do you know why they were rejected?

Sometimes a return will not email if there is an error.  Be sure to run the error checks and correct all.  Then try again.  You can not e-file state if you filed for extension (at least that is what came up with mine)  but you can e-file federal.

Did it give you a reason?   Sometimes the pin is not accepted.

You can not e-file a late return unless you filed for extension.  Both of these were late; so an extension was needed to e-file.  Print and mail.

@ndavis2  And if you efile 2022 you will need to enter 0 for the AGI if you efile today.

@JWalker3  you can always efile late  (before closing) even if you didn't file an extension.
