Will the deluxe version of turbotax address QCDs?

Yes.  Deluxe can handle QCDs.

I don't think it is calculating correctly in Turbo Tax 2018 per what I show it should be

How are you calculating it?

I input 45,000 rmd & qcd 5,000. Net should be 40,000, but showing 45,000 as taxable.

I stand corrected. Calculation is correct. When I went back in to review 1099's I saw that owner was incorrect and when I corrected, it properly calculated QCD. Sorry for the confusion.
