I didn't request an extension in 2020 but TT 2021 thinks I did - how to fix

In TT Deluxe and just completed the section on estimated tax payments (because I did make estimated tax payments). Then TT brought up a screen that says "Amount of Extension Payment Made for 2020" and said  "We transferred the 2020 federal extension payment you made in 2021." 

I did not request an extension in 2020. I examined my 2020 return and verified that, in the 2020 Tax Payments Worksheet, the lines for 2020 extensions is are blank for Federal, State, and Local.  Obviously,  I did not pay an extension.

Solution: I had not completed the Payments with Extension section of Estimates and Other Income Taxes Paid because I thought it did not apply to me. Now I opened that section and found that TT had automatically checked "yes" to the question of whether I made a payment with a 2021 or 2020 extension.  Don't know why that happened, but when I selected "no" it seems to have fixed the problem.

Thank you for posting!  I'd seen another post (only one) a couple of days ago that indicated a similar problem.
