Yes, if you incurred the business expenses for the registry agent prior to closing your business, then you can claim the expenses on Schedule C.  Professional fees would be an appropriate category to use.

As you go through the business profile where all of the basic information about your business is reported, there should be an input screen that says Tell Us More About Your Business.  On that page, there is a box to check saying that you 'sold or disposed of the business during 2024'.  Be sure to check that box so that TurboTax will not transfer the information about your Schedule C business forward to 2025.

Thank you. my last earnings was 1st half of 2023, things weren't going well so I had to moved into a small apt in Feb 1, 2024. Since then I no longer had Home Office space. No earnings in 2024, but for Jan 2024 I still had a Home Office... Can I claim Home Office Space and utilities for 1 month of the 2024, for which I paid for but did not have earnings in Jan 2024. Also I used to deduct my Medicare Part B premiums, in addition to my wife's Dental and Vision Premiums is that permittable?

As long as you were still operating the business and trying to earn income up until the date that you closed the business, then you can claim legitimate business expenses as part of your tax return.  Home office expense, professional fees, and self-employed medical insurance premiums are legitimate business expenses regardless of whether you had income to claim for the year that you closed the business.
