That was not helpful. I've ALREADY cleared and restarted my refund, but my account still says I'm using TurboTax Deluxe. Why isn't this fix working and how can I actually downgrade?
In addition to what @ee-ea has stated above, you are able to begin your tax return using TurboTax Free Edition, but if you do not qualify for it or you add on an add-on that requires an upgrade, you will be prompted to upgrade. Please see this link for tax situations covered in TurboTax Free Edition. To review your fees, follow the instructions in this link here. You can follow the instructions in this link here to remove all unwanted add ons. As long as you haven't submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered, you can erase your return and start from scratch in TurboTax Online. Follow the directions in this FAQ here to do so.
