It depends. However, DOT regulations for over-the-road truckers allows for them to only have to claim state taxes in the state where they live. In your case, that's Washington, which has no state tax. Therefore, for your state taxes, you should not need to file nonresident state tax returns. However, if you have another job in Oregon, this would require a nonresident return. But the fact that the trucking company you work for is based in Oregon does not require you to file an Oregon nonresident return.
