The student loan forms are available in TurboTax.
Where do I enter student loan interest (Form 1098-E)?
Wisconsin state forms are available.- you are either having browser or software update issues.
The America Rescue Plan offers federal tax forgiveness for the first $10,200 0f unemployment if your adjust gross income for 2020 was less than $150,000.
To enter unemployment follow these directions: Where do I report a 1099-G for unemployment or paid family leave.
I am still not able to enter the interest I paid on my student loans or upload the WI tax return. The software states that the IRS hasn't done something which is why I am not able to enter the amount.
I had state and federal taxes deducted from my unemployment, and still have not figured out how to enter those amounts in the software. The amount of unemployment I received is far below the $10, 000 that is not being taxed due to the pandemic.
I have been using this software for several years with no issues. I even paid extra to upgrade to the premium version and still am not able to complete my taxes. This is the first time I have had investment income in many, many years so I thought I would need the upgraded software. I am very frustrated and want some one to help me!!
It depends. To clarify, are you using Turbo Tax Software or the online version? I and then we can kind of chat back and forth. I will wait for your answer if you are there
Online software. I cleared my browser history without any luck
Before we get started, try to change browsers to see if this works. I will stand by.
I downloaded the software onto my laptop, but still attempted to switch browsers to enter the student loan interest paid without success. I did not attempt to download the WI tax return after switching browsers.
This is a screen shot of what I see when I attempt to add the student loan interest
The screen shot didn't come through on my end.
It states that the student loan interest will be ready soon the IRS is still working on it.

THANK YOU DAVE!!!! I followed your instructions and after restarting the software, have finally been able to enter my student loan interest, upload and start on my WI tax return. What a relief! Thanks!
