Only institutions having a relationship with TurboTax can export their client’s information. Enter yours manually.
If your financial institution is not on the drop down list, they are not partnered with TT to allow import of data into tax software. That is the choice of the financial institution. You cannot get TT to add them to the import list. You will have to enter your information by keying it in.
NOT ON THE DROP DOWN LIST
If your bank or financial institution is not on the drop down list, click the words “I’ll type it in myself” and key in your information by hand.
See if your financial institution is on the Partner List - If not, you will have to enter the information manually.
Yeah..as already noted, that decision to partner is up to the financial institution.
Why?
Because the financial institution has to be willing to hire staff & software to specially format their tax forms so that the data will cleanly upload into tax software. This special data format is not the same as the paper 1099-INT they send to you at year's end.
