You should be filing your tax return as Married Filing Jointly even if one spouse has little or no income.  You receive the highest Standard Deduction of $29,200, under age 65, and you have the lowest tax brackets.

You should file a joint return with your spouse, even if one spouse had no income.

For a joint return for tax year 2024, the standard deduction is $29,200 while on a Single or Married Separately  return, the standard deduction is only $14,600.   By filing jointly, you will have a higher standard deduction.  This will help you to pay less taxes.
