I am helping family prepare their tax returns. I am doing 6 and per the software I can only efile 5. NY has a requirement to efile returns prepared using software. help?

New York allows tax returns to be mailed if the software being used does not support e-filing.

For a simple return you can use one of the IRS free file options. www.irs.gov
