Can I import 1099 from charles schwab?

Yes, you should be able to import your Form 1099 from Charles Schwab; however, the brokerage will most likely not have the forms available until early February.

I followed these exact steps and was not able to import from Schwab.  Do I need to wait until feb15 to do this?

I contacted schwab and they said that this functionality will be enabled closer to 2/15

even on 2/15, it complains - No 1099 data available online for this Login ID -- fyi, all documents available on my a/c

2/14 not working. 2/15 around 5pm ET working --> successful import to TT.

2/16 not working. TT complains that there isn't any tax related info to import. However it is available, I have manually downloaded the data from schwab as pdf and csv. Can I import the downloads somehow?

I was able to import from Schwab yesterday. You should be able to now as well.

I confirmed the Charles Schwab download of several of my accounts to be complete and accurate after the Turbo Tax "declared" date of availability  ie. February 15, 2019

The problem I was having was that I was logged on to  my previous year download file Turbotax 2016..No wonder I couldnt get download til I got on Turbotax 2018.
