I had medicare but my wife had health insurance from work and then Obama care.

The program doesn't seem to allow me to give separate answers for me and my wife.  What should I do?

In Turbo Tax, you will respond to the question “did you both have health insurance coverage in 2016”. Select “We both had health insurance coverage all year” if you both were covered by something for all 12 months. See Screenshot below.

On the next screen indicate that someone was covered by an Obamacare plan. You will need to enter 1095 A information for the months that your wife was covered by an Obamacare plan. If she was not covered in a certain month, leave that line blank. See screenshot below.

You do not need to enter any information for your Medicare coverage or her employer plan coverage.
