Once you have your IP Pin:
- Sign in to TurboTax if you haven't already
- Mobile app users, you'll need to sign in at TurboTax.com from a browser
- Select Fix my return and select Federal in the left menu
- In the top navigation, select Other Tax Situations
- Select Show more next to Other Return Info and select Start or Revisit next to Identity Protection PIN
- On the Did you or your spouse get an Identity Protection PIN from the IRS for this year's taxes? page, select Yes
- Select Add or Edit next to the spouse's name
- Enter or correct the IP PIN and Continue
- Select File in the left menu
- On the Welcome back screen, select Continue
- Don't select Fix my return
- Select Start next to Step 3 to refile your return
