I am being claimed by my parents, and I am confused on the fact that I thought since I am being claimed by them I wouldn't get a standard deduction?

Am I doing this form wrong? I checked yes to the box that asked are you being claimed.

You would get a standard deduction. You would not get a personal exemption, as it would be shown on their return.
