I am a Veteran and I have my medical through the VA. So what do I need to do to get out of the health insurance section and get no penalty

In the Health Insurance section of the program just indicate that you had health care coverage for the entire year.  Then on the next screen when asked if you had coverage through one of the less common plans shown, answer NO.  That will complete the Health Insurance section of the program.
