How you start over even when it says you can't

As long as you haven't submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered, you can clear your return and start over in TurboTax Online.

1. Sign in and select a topic to continue your return.
2. On the next screen, from the left-side menu, select Tax Tools, and then Clear & Start Over (select the menu icon in the upper-left corner if you don't see this menu).
3. Answer Yes in the pop-up to confirm.

If it won't let you clear and start over and you haven't paid yet you can just leave this account and start a new account but you won't be able to transfer from 2018.

Then you wouldn't want to start a new account and pay again.  So try to fix your current return.  Why do you want to start over?

Did you buy the wrong Desktop CD program or pay for the Online version?  They don't give refunds for Online accounts.  So you might as well use the version you paid for.  The higher versions have all the same forms as the lower versions.

It shows you are in the Self Employed version.  What version do you want?  Do you need to buy the separate Turbo Tax Business program to do a 1120 or S corp or 1065 or 1041 return?
